Itinerary

1, Arrival / Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. We will meet you at the airport transfer to  Colombo & check in hotel.  After noon city tour in Colombo.                                                               Overnight at Hotel (Colombo).

2,Colombo/Polonnaruwa /Seegiriya.

After breakfast leave for polonnaruwa. Afternoon is ideal to see polonnaruwa because sun goes down so you feel much better in the afternoon to see monuments and elephant gathering in Minneriya Lake.

Overnight stay in Polonnaruwa

3, Seegiriya / Dambulla / Kandy.

After breakfast leave for sigirya  (Lions rock)                                                                                                                    Sigiriya is world heritage sites .                                                                                                                                                                               There are nice paintings and very nice rock fortress there with advance skills of water management which was built in Anurdhapura period by King Kashyapa. After lengthy visit and climb to seegirya rock you can have relax time with nice foot massage over there.         

Dambulla:                                                                                                                                                                               Then we visit Dambulla caves and painting. History of this temple goes back to 3rd and 2nd century BC. Dambulla caves have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Also known for bird watching. Then visit Nalanda Gedige the Abu Simbel of Sri Lanka.Nalanda Gedige is one of a number of remarkable archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. Also visit a spice garden & batik factory in Matale En-route to Kandy. Evening arrive at hotel in Kandy, the center of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha.

4, KANDY / NWARA ELIYA

After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for its large number and variety of plants, ornamental, Decorative, Useful & medicinal.

After we visit  Elephant orphanage at Pinnawala witness feeding baby elephant s /  the bathing Elephant at the river  then proceed to   Nuwaraeliya the center of hill country, En-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world famous ‘’ Ceylon tea ‘’ Nuwareliya this significant location is called as the Paradise of Nature & as the heart of Tea country located at a height of 1980 meters in the central highland of a tropical Island. The weather & the climate of this location feel difference comparing with other places in Sri Lanka .

 Gregory Lake is one of attractive locations in Nuwareliya & it was built by Governor William Gregory during 1872 – 1877 periods.Shanthipura (the city view point). Spend the evening walking in the cool climate.

05,NUWARA ELIYA/ YALA

After bfast leave for Yala Region Stop at Ella to admire the magnificent view. Then visit to Yala Park by jeep. The Elephant is undoubtedly the best known attraction at Yala, seen in small & large herds. Herds of spotted deer are seen all over the park.

06,YALA/GALLE/COLOMBO

After breakfast Leave for  Colombo.En route visit Weligama Stilt Fisherman & the city of Galle Dutch Fort, museum & Church. Dutch Fort: Built in 1663, the fort still retains the atmosphere and charm of Dutch days. Many Old Dutch buildings are still intact inside the fort.

Then proceed to Airport .
